Typekit – the savior for (web)designers.

Oh, holy mother of Christ… Thank GOD or some other supreme being for Typekit.

They are about to release their new solution for using fonts on the web. Their own words: “…For designers and developers, this is a significant step forward. No longer will you need to trap your content in images or Flash just to express yourself visually. Pages will be more usable, accessible, and indexable. This is a massive upgrade for the web.”

Just our type…

Just your type
It’s been long since I googled the words “free font”. I guess I learned that these words in google normally hits you with tons of shit ttf’s. Despite this fact I did google this word-combo today, and only a couple of lines down I was lead to these free and fresh sets of vector type.

Check the styles from Jakob Nylund – Nice…

Dj DSL on the Penols of Steel

2009 Calendar

Wallchart
Dj Dsl aka Stefan Biedermann from Hamburg,  Germany is a very talented dj and producer. Apart from this he’s got a good grip on his black marker. He draws all his flyers in a nice, naive, slabby style. On his site you can see his the calendar he’s got for sale and also last years Wallchart for European Football Championship.

This is what DSL sounds like when he remixes Jazzanova. Check it!

Type Stamp the Rubik way.

HOT DIGGITY DAMN!

I saw an amazing concept on FormFiftyFive yesterday, and I just had to tell our readers about it. Jas Bhachu is a student (!!!) at Liverpool School of Art & Design. Not only is his portfolio amazing and clever, but he have mada a Rubik’s Cube Font Generator. It works as an regular Rubik´s Cube, but it generates type, and works as a stamp. Again I say: DAMN!

Who we are

TTC (Trondheim Type Club) started out in 2008 by Aasmund Hegglid and Trond Aslak Øvrum. The idea was made in 2007 as something we missed in our town. A breeding place for type-fanatics.

We are now a group of people with relations to the design/advertising industry in Trondheim, Norway.

We all have passion and love for typography, and want to share our ideas, inspirations and knowledge with everyone. Kern or die!
