In a nutshell, Typedia is a community website to classify typefaces and educate people about them. Think of it like a mix between IMDb and Wikipedia, but just for type. Anyone can join, add, and edit pages for typefaces or for the people behind the type.

I was playng with my daughter on the floor the other day. And all of a sudden my eyes noticed the name of our oven. Yes, of course it was type related…..

Edenspiekermann Wins Two Red Dot Awards.

I stumbled upon this beautiful work on fontshop`s twitter account. On FontFeed I read: “Edenspiek­ermann’s works for Hering Berlin and Utrecht City Theatre have been awarded with a red dot award for outstanding design. With more than 11,000 submis­sions from 61 countries, the inter­na­tional “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design compe­tition in the world.”

When I came to the office to day this letter was waiting for me. House Industries had sent me a NEUTRAFACE SLAB poster.. They did that, because they hoped that I would buy the typeface… I really want to buy it… so it just might be that I´ll do just that. Thanks House for the poster & reminder.
