I saw a small part of a documentary about Ed Ruscha yesterday. The American artist is a living legend. Four decades with painting. Read his bio here. He implements typography in much of his work. Fine art with typography. -Inspiring.

  1. I wrote a thesis about him at University! Love his stuff, especially his early magazines. You can’t go wrong with a small magazines filled with photos of pools in LA in the late 50s/early 60s. You just CAN’T!!!

Who we are

TTC (Trondheim Type Club) started out in 2008 by Aasmund Hegglid and Trond Aslak Øvrum. The idea was made in 2007 as something we missed in our town. A breeding place for type-fanatics.

We are now a group of people with relations to the design/advertising industry in Trondheim, Norway.

We all have passion and love for typography, and want to share our ideas, inspirations and knowledge with everyone. Kern or die!
