We (Aasmund and Ståle) where invited to do a workshop at How to Wow in Zagreb the 20th of may (tomorrow). So today at 0530 AM we started our trip from Trondheim to Zagreb.
Well, you decide to make short movies with the typefaces as the lead actor. This should’nt be a problem, but when you add all the school book tacky effects, spice it up with some drone/new age music, and you’ve got yourself some sleep medicine. Why not learn from the film industry and at least have a story to tell. I think Moving type and Titling sequences are some of the most inspiring areas of type setting today, these ain’t. The helloVARSKO! posters have landed. Ah, beautiful. What a line up! It´s designed by the magical CMNCTN. The backside is designed by the spanish wonder Alex Trochut for helloVARSKO! The poster is printed at Fagtrykk and the very cool people at Arctic Paper is responseble for the lovely paper.
Great concept and excecution on this branding project for onedotzero by Wieden + Kennedy London. By interacting with the audience they create a fluid and changing brand for onedotzero. Check it out!
I saw this movie a few weeks ago, and it had an almost perfect opening. You can`t go wrong with high speed cameras combined with exelent typography that reacts with its sorrundings.
TTC (Trondheim Type Club) started out in 2008 by Aasmund Hegglid and Trond Aslak Øvrum. The idea was made in 2007 as something we missed in our town. A breeding place for type-fanatics.
We are now a group of people with relations to the design/advertising industry in Trondheim, Norway.
