I´m an Art Director at Tibe T advertising agency. I got that job recently, and my first job here was to make a logo for the musical Rock ´n Roll Wolf for Trøndelag Teater. The musical is based on the movie Mama. The lead characters is a goat and of course the wolf. And everything goes down in the forrest. My friend and work mate Aasmund suggested that I should go for a walk in a forrest. So to make the logo, I went to the forrest and found some tree bark. So the typography was made with bark. The helloVARSKO! posters have landed. Ah, beautiful. What a line up! It´s designed by the magical CMNCTN. The backside is designed by the spanish wonder Alex Trochut for helloVARSKO! The poster is printed at Fagtrykk and the very cool people at Arctic Paper is responseble for the lovely paper.

Our friend (and fellow type club member) Stian W. Bugten and his buddy Simon P. Egli has worked on a font the for a while now. We blogged about the project some time ago, but things have happened since then.

“Sea Ark Sheep a contextual typeface.
This font is getting its look only by typing. See a preview on vimeo.
Started as a project at Central Saint Martins, finally this font is getting released early 2010 by the publisher Die Gestalten. For a preview a small serie of riso prints has been published. (100 sets of 7 A3)”
Lucky me. I got my hands on one of those preview sets. I took some pictures of the sweetness on my kitchen floor.

To promote the 100th year anniversery for Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Tibe T assigned Si Scott for some illustration. The result were in the true spirit of Si Scott’s univers. Intricate, beatiful and bold.
